Experience the texture and feel of natural wood. Japanese cherry wood is characterized by its color reddening over time, allowing you to enjoy the unique transformation of your pen. The surface is treated with an ink-resistant finish to ensure functionality without compromising its natural touch.

Nowadays, opportunities to write by hand are limited. Focusing on the simplicity of the dip pen, KAKIMORI has developed a range of interchangeable nibs and nib holders. Versatile and designed for regular users, this collection is a new writing instrument suited to our times.

This is a nib holder that fulfills the desire to create a lifelong instrument, bringing joy to our hands and soul. From timeless material to comfortable thickness, shape, and length, every detail has been carefully considered to create the perfect fit.

USAGE & CARE
  • The nib holder will reveal the true color of the indigo with use. If it dries out, apply a little beeswax.
  • Friction may cause color or wax transfer.
  • To prevent fading, avoid soaking the nib holder in water, sudden temperature changes, and prolonged sun exposure.
  • Due to the nature of the material and its treatment, color and grain may vary from piece to piece.
  • If ink gets on the wood, clean with a soft cloth.
  • When removing your nib, pull gently while twisting to avoid detaching the holder.
  • After rinsing, shake well downward to remove all water or ink before inserting the nib.
