Frequently Asked Questions

What are ARCHIVIST matches?

ARCHIVIST offers luxury large matches presented in beautiful illustrated boxes with a vintage design. The patterns, often animal or graphic, and the colored tips make them decorative as well as useful objects, to place near a candle or fireplace.

What are these large matches for?

They are used to light candles, incense, fireplaces, or stoves, with a longer and safer match than common models. Beyond their use, the illustrated box can be displayed as a small decorative object on a shelf or table.

Are ARCHIVIST matchboxes a good gift?

Yes, it’s a small, original, and thoughtful gift, easy to give. The vintage design of the boxes and their decorative aspect are very popular, especially when paired with a candle. It’s a refined gesture for those who appreciate beautiful objects and details.

How to store your matches?

Keep the box dry, away from moisture that could prevent the matches from igniting, and out of reach of children. Once opened, the decorative box can be stored and reused. Close it well after use to protect the remaining matches.
