“Pole pole” means “slowly, little by little” in Swahili. The Japanese manufacturer T-Lab is committed to preserving the craft of woodworking. The original minimalist design, with its rounded and soft shapes, makes these animals especially endearing and adorable. Dessinés au Japon, sculptés à Bali
Chaque animal polepole naît d'un croquis au Japon puis prend forme à Bali, taillé à la main dans le bois d'albizia et fini à la peinture végétale. Aucun ne ressemble tout à fait à un autre. Polepole veut dire « doucement » en swahili : posés sur une étagère, ils ralentissent la maison entière.
