IVORY CONICAL WASTE BASKET - L
With their simple shape and classic colors, very popular during the period of rapid economic growth in Japan, these waste baskets are still widely used today in living rooms and offices with their simple yet aesthetic form that cannot be produced with plastic. In 2015, this design received the "Good Design・Long-Life Design Awards".
These waste baskets are very durable and highly resistant to rust thanks to a caulking process used instead of welding. Although made of steel, the edges where the plates are joined are covered with a single plate to allow a smooth contact with the fingers and no risk of clothing catching. The finish is high-end thanks to high-quality painting work instead of printing.

The cone is made of steel, as this simple and aesthetic shape cannot be produced in plastic. In 2015, this design received the Good Design and Long Life Design Awards.

KNOW-HOW
A basket designed to last
The conical shape
A simple cone, in classic colors, very popular in Japan during the period of rapid economic growth. It can still be found today in living rooms and offices.
Steel rather than plastic
This simple and aesthetic shape cannot be produced in plastic. Steel allows it to be achieved, and the basket remains very durable.
Caulking, no welding
The plates are assembled by caulking rather than welding. Without welding, the basket resists rust much better.
Soft edges to the touch
At the junction of the plates, a single plate covers the edge. The contact remains smooth to the touch and nothing catches on the clothing.
Painted, not printed
The color comes from careful painting work, not from printing.
An award-winning design
In 2015, this design received the Good Design and Long Life Design Awards, which recognize objects designed to last.
