08 ZABUN - Pigment ink by Kakimori, Tokyo, Japan.

"Zabun is the sound of the vast blue ocean. Listen to the splash of the waves as the ink spreads on the paper, awakening precious memories." The names given to the inks are inspired by onomatopoeia and their imagery.

Innovative pigments have been developed to minimize clogging in the nib while remaining water-resistant. These inks can be used with dip pens, fountain pens, and rollerballs, allowing you to fully enjoy the pleasure of writing and drawing.

The evocative shape of the bottle resembles a drop of molten glass that has solidified. Filling the bottles with ink creates the illusion of two elements becoming one. The stable base prevents ink from spilling.

Once dry, these pigment inks are water- and fade-resistant. They were developed so your special messages withstand the test of time.

The wide 2cm opening with an 8° tilt makes dipping easy and prevents damage to delicate nibs. The shallow depth allows effortless refilling and helps keep your pens clean.

The design of the bottle and writing accessories was carefully entrusted to Japanese designer Makoto Koizumi. Conceived as furniture pieces to be treasured, the various materials were crafted by Japanese artisans.
