HANDMADE POLEPOLE WOODEN ANIMALS
"Pole pole" means "slowly, slowly" in Swahili. The Japanese maker T-Lab continues the craft of woodworking. The original minimalist design, round and smooth, makes these animals especially endearing. Cut, carved, finely sanded, then hand-painted, each piece is slightly different and entirely unique!
- Handcrafted in Bali
- Plant-based paint
- Albizia Falcata wood from eco-responsible forests
- Each animal is unique: size and shape may vary from one model to another
- Decorative object, not suitable for young children
ECO-RESPONSIBLE WOODEN ANIMALS
T-Lab preserves the natural and rapid growth of Albizia Falcata forests by committing to replant the trees used for its production. A completely natural product, free of chemical treatments or pollutants — neither in the wood nor in the paint.
A NATURAL AND MINIMALIST DECORATIVE OBJECT
The simplicity and softness of this animal will accompany you throughout the day. It will easily find its place on your desk: a simple glance at your totem animal is enough to make you forget everyday worries.
The perfect balance between the natural color of the wood and the black paint makes it a unique decorative piece, which will easily fit into your home. Your Polepole will stand out just as well in a very bright spot — on a windowsill — as in the shade of a bookshelf.
To harmonize with your interior, it is ideal to place your favorite animal in a setting that highlights this type of design object: a wooden shelf, a Scandinavian-inspired desk, or as decoration in a child's room.
