1. Sand with the paper until you achieve the desired result.

Carved in Bali, finished at your home
These animals leave the Bali workshop half-finished, and that's intentional. They are hand-cut and carved from albizia falcata, a wood sourced from eco-friendly forests, then shipped as is, without sanding or painting. The sandpaper is included in the box, while the water-based acrylic paint and fine brush are up to you. It's your choice whether to soften and color the wood or keep the figurine raw for its texture. Since each piece is made by a different hand, the size and shape vary from one animal to another.

What happens in the box, and what remains to be done
Cut, carved, nothing more
The artisans of Bali carve the shape from albizia wood by hand, then stop there. The figurine arrives exactly as it comes off the blade.
A soft wood to sand
The albizia falcata comes from eco-responsible forests. It is a lightweight wood that becomes smooth and soft to the touch once hand-sanded.
The sandpaper is included.
This is the only tool in the box. Water-based acrylic paint and the fine brush are not included; you choose them yourself.
Your colors, your animal
One shade or ten, a solid color or patterns, your totem animal is painted just the way you want it in the moment.
Or nothing at all
Raw wood keeps very well as is, for those who like minimalist design and the natural texture of wood.
