ORIBE HEUGE BOWL
Oribe porcelain is named after Furuta Oribe, who studied wabi tea as a disciple of Sen no Rikyu. Furuta Oribe, who preferred wild beauty over calm beauty, greatly admired Mino porcelain, known as "mysterious porcelain," and Oribe porcelain was born while he was teaching pottery. The green of Oribe ceramics expresses itself in different ways depending on the kiln.
We have boldly abandoned the somewhat outdated patterns and colors that usually come to mind when thinking of Oribe tableware, to create Oribe colors better suited to modern eating habits. Enjoy Oribe tableware that can be used every day on your table.
This bowl is between a rice bowl and a soup bowl. It is ideal for serving individual side dishes or for serving large dishes containing plenty of soup or stew.
