CLASSIC RENAISSANCE FOUNTAIN PEN - KAZARI KANAGU DRAGON - Fine

Perpetuating the legacy of artisans, creating timeless blessings

About « 錺 KAZARI KANAGU »

※This product includes: KAZARI KANAGU Fountain Pen - Dragon (14K gold nib F) + Dragon-patterned gold presentation box + Brass ink bottle + Ink converter

The 錺 (KAZARI KANAGU), a type of metal craftsmanship, is often used for Buddhist devotional objects. As lifestyles have evolved, this traditional metal accessory craft has gradually developed a new design aspect beyond the original decoration of temples, shrines, Buddhist altars, mikoshi, etc., allowing the art of metal engraving to be integrated into everyday life and become an exquisite and meaningful decoration of people’s lifestyles.

To commemorate the Year of the Dragon, YSTUDIO presents the exquisite “Year of the Dragon Limited Edition” as part of the Classic Renaissance Series. Inspired by the intricate “cloud and thunder” motif found on traditional Eastern bronzes, this pen captures the majestic sight of dragons ascending into the celestial realm.

When the dragon emerges, it bestows auspicious blessings and symbolizes the eternal cycle of nature. With this fusion of Eastern culture, aesthetics, and traditional craftsmanship, the pen transforms into a vessel of limitless possibilities.

As emotions flow through its golden body and are inscribed on the page, the writer’s story is immortalized for generations to come.

14-CARAT GOLD NIB

The YSTUDIO fountain pen nib, made in Germany and crafted from 14-carat gold, is of unparalleled quality.

The nib is adorned with the distinctive character « 龍 » (meaning “Dragon” in Mandarin) and the delicately engraved YSTUDIO logo. After multiple rounds of hand polishing, the nib embodies a remarkable spirit of craftsmanship.

DRAGON-MOTIF SILVERSMITH BOX

Made from solid wood, the dragon-motif silversmith box offers a sturdy and generous storage space. Designed with a special pen holder slot, it proudly displays your Dragon pen standing inside.

YSTUDIO invited Mr. Mitsuhiro Ito to engrave his own message on the lid: “One heart and one mind, one path to life,” illustrating the artisan’s unwavering commitment and lifelong dedication to his craft.

BRASS INK BOTTLE

The set includes a brass ink bottle with a brass cap and a wide transparent glass body.

Usage & Entretien
The color of brass can change depending on the user and the environment, but that is also its unique characteristic. The oxide is harmless. Simply wipe it with Brass Polish to restore the brass to its original shine. Without any surface treatment, we hope that each product will retain its individual marks through the constant use by its owner.
