In 2015, this design received the "Good Design・Long-Life Design Awards."
These wastebaskets are very durable and highly rust-resistant thanks to a caulking process used instead of welding. Although made of steel, the edges where the plates join are covered with a single plate to allow smooth contact with fingers and prevent clothing from catching. The finish is premium thanks to high-quality painting work instead of printing.
