The solid brass single-flower vase

Vase made of a brass base and a glass test tube that can be used both ways: upside down to create a herbarium by inserting a few dried flower stems; right side up to put water in the tube to hold some fresh flowers. Discreet and versatile, this vase is a decorative object appreciated on a desk, shelf, or bookcase, in any season.

Each brass piece is carefully crafted by skilled artisans in Japan. The surface has been treated to make scratches and fingerprints less visible. However, there is no clear coating to allow appreciation of the patina from time, use, and environment. Oil and air will naturally darken this piece and make it shinier. This is part of its natural beauty.

If brass pieces are exposed to water or humidity for long periods, the metal may change color faster or stain.

Thus, each piece lasts through the years without deteriorating but rather evolves and develops a patina through use.

USE & CARE

The degree of change varies depending on the season and storage conditions. Areas that have been in contact with objects (mainly leather) and humidity are particularly prone to discoloration and may cause stains.
