Blackwing Pearl Blue Pencils (12 Pencils)

The new Pearl shades in blue and pink are additions to the main Blackwing pencil line. Each pencil contains the same smooth, balanced graphite core as the other Pearl pencils. It is softer than the Blackwing 602 graphite but firmer than the Blackwing Matte, making it a favorite among calligraphers and illustrators.

Each pencil features a pearly finish, the iconic Blackwing square ferrule, silver imprint, and a bright blue eraser. Blackwing Pearl pencils are sold in sets of 12, which also serve as a pencil holder.

  • Box of 12 Blackwing Pearl pencils
  • Soft core, ideal for writing and drawing (similar to a 3B pencil)
  • Sleek design and pleasant to use
  • Gift box that also serves as a pencil holder
  • Made in Japan from renewable California incense cedar

Some of the greatest Grammy, Emmy, Pulitzer, and Academy Award winners have created with Blackwing pencils. Famous users include John Steinbeck, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, and Chuck Jones (who proudly used Blackwing to create Bugs Bunny and countless other Looney Tunes characters). Discontinued in 1998, the Blackwing pencil is now making a comeback.

À propos de BLACKWING

The Blackwing pencil has a rich history dating back to 1934. In 2008, Palomino acquired the brand and began producing the Blackwing range as we know it today.

Blackwing pencils are renowned for the quality of their graphite and the unique smoothness of their lead. The Blackwing pencil is immediately recognizable by its semi-hexagonal body and interchangeable eraser. The original Blackwing 602 alone inspired the works of some of the greatest artists in history. It is said that Disney animator Shamus Culhane requested to be buried with his Blackwing 602.
