The TRAVELER'S notebook is the traveler's notebook designed by the Japanese company TRAVELER'S COMPANY (formerly Midori, DESIGNPHIL group). Its genuine leather cover, hand-stitched, holds up to three notebooks secured by a central elastic band. The bare leather develops a patina over time and use, becoming unique throughout your travels. Launched in 2006, this refillable notebook celebrates its 20th anniversary and remains a global reference for travel notebooks.

Regular or Passport, two sizes

The TRAVELER'S notebook comes in two formats. The Regular size (22 x 12.4 cm) offers large pages, ideal as a journal, notebook, or daily planner. The Passport size (13.5 x 9.9 cm) fits in a pocket or bag, perfect for travel. All refills and most accessories are available in both sizes, allowing you to keep the same system at home and on the go.

The Regular size (22 x 12.4 cm) is suitable for daily use as a journal or notebook. The Passport size (13.5 x 9.9 cm) fits in a pocket and is better suited for travel. The choice mainly depends on your usage and the space you have available.

What is the difference between Midori and TRAVELER'S COMPANY?

They are the same brand. The notebook was born in 2006 under the name Midori Traveler's Notebook. In 2015, the company created the dedicated brand TRAVELER'S COMPANY (DESIGNPHIL group). The product and its manufacturing remain identical; only the name changed.

How do you refill a TRAVELER'S notebook?

The leather cover holds the notebooks with a central elastic band. To change a refill, slide it under the elastic and remove the old one. You can connect several notebooks together with a connecting elastic or clips.

How many notebooks can fit in one cover?

A cover comfortably holds two to three notebooks connected by connecting elastics. Beyond that, the notebook becomes thick and the central elastic loosens. Many keep a notebook, a planner, and a pouch.

Does the leather require maintenance?

The leather is delivered bare and naturally develops a patina; no maintenance is required. If you wish, a bit of balm or neutral wax nourishes the leather and revives its color. Marks and scratches are part of the notebook's charm.

Are refills compatible between formats?

No. A Regular refill does not fit in a Passport cover, and vice versa. Always check the format, Regular or Passport, before buying a refill or accessory. Most references exist in both sizes.
