BRASS RETRACTABLE PEN - Solid brass pen by PICUS, Japan.
Fine ballpoint pen with a retractable tip, using the unique texture of brass. All surface parts are made of solid brass, except for the clip which is made of plated iron.
Each brass piece is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans in Japan. There is no transparent treatment to appreciate the patina of time, use, and environment. Oil and air will naturally darken this piece and make it shinier. This is part of its natural beauty.
If brass parts are exposed to water or humidity for long periods, the metal may change color more quickly or become stained.
Thus, each piece traverses the years without deteriorating but, on the contrary, evolves and acquires a patina through use.
