The design of the ink bottle and writing accessories has been carefully entrusted to Japanese designer Makoto Koizumi. Imagined as pieces of furniture that are cherished, the various materials have been crafted by Japanese artisans.

KAKIMORI is a brand born from a specialized stationery shop, founded by the enthusiast Hirose Takuma in 2010. This must-visit shop in Tokyo, which counts among its clients the most discerning writing enthusiasts, opened an ink counter in 2014 to allow for the creation of custom colors.
