THE N°12 EXPLORE IS THE IDEAL KNIFE FOR OUTDOORS
With its whistle, fire starter, and cutting hook, the N°12 Explore has all the features necessary to make it an essential part of your outdoor kit. Its bi-material handle is resistant to water and extreme temperatures. Its short and sturdy handle allows for precise cutting.

Blade: Modified stainless steel Sandvik 12C27. It is corrosion-resistant due to the addition of chromium.

The Handle: Reinforced polyamide with fiberglass to withstand shocks, humidity, and extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). The ball-less survival whistle works in all weather conditions (110 decibels).
Safety ring: Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is equipped on all folding knives starting from No. 06. Made from stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding.
