The Woven Plate AKAME X HMM is the result of a three-way collaboration between the AKAME restaurant, HMM Design, and Spring Pool Glass. AKAME is a famous fusion restaurant in southern Taiwan, specializing in wood-fired grills, seasonal indigenous ingredients, unique herbs and spices, and wild vegetables.

The Woven Plate is inspired by the shell flower woven baskets of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples, transforming the woven layers into glass to present a stunning piece of tableware through exquisite glass craftsmanship. Made from recycled glass, this plate is fully recyclable and reusable, as Spring Pool Glass turns the charm of the circular economy into plates of abundance on the dining table through its expertise. The unique woven pattern challenges the highest level of difficulty in glass craftsmanship while also highlighting the beauty of the glass.

With a diameter of 16 cm, this compact and versatile plate can be stacked to save space. The woven-pattern tableware blends cultural traditions and craftsmanship into practical dishware. It represents inclusivity and giving, anticipation, and blessing.
