Fragrant Olive Incense
Born in 2011 in Hyōgo Prefecture from the meeting of Kobe Match (matches since 1929) and Awaji Daihatsu (incense), Hibi — "day after day" — reinvents incense in matchstick form.

10 MINUTES AROMA - Box of 8 incense sticks by HIBI. FRAGRANT OLIVE
Refreshing aroma of fragrant osmanthus with an oriental sweetness. Ideal for relaxing in tender nostalgia.
- 8 sticks
- 1 fireproof base
- travel size (allowed in cabin during air travel)
Hibi - 10 minutes aroma was born from the meeting of two traditional Japanese crafts: Harima matches and incense from Awaji Island. The desire to reintroduce the use of incense into our daily lives motivated over 3 years of research to create this truly magical product.
Instructions for use:
(1) Open the package by pulling on both sides of the perforations.
(2) Take out a hibi. Hold it in the middle (to avoid breaking it), apply its tip at a 45-degree angle to the brown part of the box and scrape downwards.
(3) Once lit, hold the hibi with its tip slightly downward and wait for the flame to go out naturally. Otherwise, the incense will not burn or the match smell will be noticeable at first (but fades after a while and gives way to the hibi scent).
(4) Place the hibi on the special mat. A scent will be released for about 10 minutes. The special mat and saucer have thermal insulation properties, so you can place them directly on a table or other surface. If you prefer, place them on the sliding lid. Stay nearby while hibi burns. Burn only one stick at a time to prevent the mat from overheating.
(5) After use, completely discard the ash remaining on the mat. Otherwise, scent confusion may occur when using a hibi of a different fragrance.
