COVER DESIGN
Shimada Textiles is a textile manufacturer with over 90 years of history, located in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture, one of the main regions of Banshu-ori in Japan. This region is renowned for its yarn-dyed textiles — a technique where threads are dyed before being woven into patterns. The company designs original fabrics in collaboration with highly skilled artisans at every stage of production.
