Usage & Entretien
Daily use is recommended to prevent the nib from drying out.
Write with light pressure, without forcing the nib.
The cap does not post on the back of the pen.
If you are flying, fill the pen after your arrival to avoid any leaks during the trip.
A Japanese body, a German pen
Kakimori designs its writing tools in Kuramae, a workshop district in Tokyo, since 2010. This pen is the most understated version, featuring a slim aluminum body with a textured matte finish. The body is made in Japan and adjusted to remain airtight, while the nib and refill come from Germany. The logo is discreetly placed on the cap, and that’s the only branding on the item. Nothing to assemble, nothing to polish, just a pen you fill and keep.

The choices behind this pen
A body machined in Japan
The aluminum is crafted in Japan, with a very tight fit between the body and the cap. The textured matte finish feels good in the hand.
Feather and refill from Germany
The pen and the refill are made in Germany, where the consistency of the line is ensured. The rest of the pen comes from Japan.
Four possible writings
The same body is available in M ballpoint pen, fine F nib, medium M nib, and 0.5 mm rollerball. Choose according to the desired line.
Balance, cap removed
For fountain pens and rollerballs, the balance is calculated without the weight of the cap, which therefore does not attach to the back of the pen.
We fill it, we keep it
Ink converter included with fountain pens and rollerballs, ink not provided. The ballpoint pen uses standard G2 refills, with its brass adapter.
Write a little every day
Kakimori recommends regular use, once a day, to prevent the nib from drying out. Gentle strokes are enough, without pressing hard.
