CHIPS - SMALL PLATE – ANCIENT POTTERY SERIES

The sharp edge of this plate evokes a frame, showcasing ingredients and dishes like an artistic composition.
It’s perfect for serving a dessert or presenting different portions to share.

The color stands out with a soft hue and a matte texture reminiscent of old metal tableware—it’s hard to imagine it’s ceramic.
With each use, the plate’s color slightly evolves under the effect of oils and acids, making it a living piece that transforms over time.
These gradual changes are part of the enjoyment of use.
It also wonderfully highlights the colors of the dishes it accompanies.

THE ANCIENT POTTERY SERIES

Old or artisanal tableware often fascinates—but it can be expensive, and many hesitate to actually use it... In the end, this admiration often remains theoretical.

The ancient pottery series captures the subtle details of old or artisanal pieces while being made of sturdy stoneware: a very practical ceramic suited for modern daily use.
This product was designed in collaboration with Mino potters, using the region’s materials and techniques, with the aim of making refinement more accessible.
This tableware could well be your first step toward a long-held dream.
