This set of two sake cups is perfect for tasting.
They can be used for much more than sake: they are also suitable as small containers for delicate dishes or as mini cocottes.
They also make an excellent gift when paired with the sake pitcher sold separately.
- Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in size and shape may occur.
- The glaze used tends to run or be uneven, making each piece unique. Enjoy the lively character of the glaze on each item.
- The clay used may result in a rough surface or edges, or even small holes.
- Black spots on the glaze or a reddish tint on the base may appear. This is due to the presence of iron powder in the kiln and ferrous elements in the clay, with no impact on use.
- Some pieces may have small cracks (crazing) at purchase or develop them over time. This does not affect use.
◎ The crazing appears about a month after firing, during cooling, due to differences in shrinkage between the clay and the glaze. It may be accompanied by a small sharp sound, like a "ting," which gradually fades, although the cracks continue to evolve. Enjoy this metallophone-like ringing during the first uses.

Usage & Entretien
After use, wash quickly with a soft sponge and dish soap, then dry thoroughly before storing.
Due to the high porosity of the material, prolonged soaking or storing food inside may cause stains, dirt, discoloration, mold, or odors.
When using in the microwave or dishwasher, avoid sudden temperature changes, as this may cause cracks.
Compatibility: Dishwasher safe, microwave safe (for reheating, maximum 2 minutes), not oven or direct flame safe.
