Tools to Liveby designs its scissors from Taipei and sources the steel from Japan. All pairs in the series are made with imported Japanese stainless steel. On the black versions, the black part is coated with a Teflon layer that prevents glue from sticking to the blade. The series ranges from the 3-inch compact and easy-to-carry size to the 9-inch extra-long blade, including the universal 6.5-inch size and the 8-inch model with a rubber handle. It’s a simple office tool, designed for the cutting motion and built to last.

What makes a good blade
The steel comes from Japan
Each pair in the series is made with imported Japanese stainless steel. This is what gives the blade its sharp cut, whether on paper or cardboard.
Teflon versus glue
On the black versions, the black part is coated with Teflon, which prevents glue from sticking to the blade. Like any non-stick coating, it wears off over time and with use.
Four sizes, one same gesture
The 3-inch fits everywhere thanks to its compact shape, the 6.5-inch is the universal size, the 8-inch stays on the desk, and the 9-inch is used for long cuts.
The extra-long blade of the 9-inch
Its length makes it easy to cut in a straight line over a longer distance. It is well suited for gluing and creating patterns.
A comfortable grip
On the 8-inch, the design remains simple and the rubber handle makes cutting comfortable. Each pair is engraved with the brand logo and comes in a pouch with hot-stamped gold protection.
