CHIPS - OCTAGONAL BOWL - ANCIENT POTTERY SERIES
A perfect bowl for soups and desserts.
The glaze that settles on the raised details of its octagonal shape creates a warm and refined atmosphere.
Made from durable stoneware, it combines aesthetics with great practicality for everyday use.
The brass color offers a matte tone and texture reminiscent of antique metal pieces: it is hard to believe it is ceramic.
Over time, its color slowly changes under the effect of oils and acids, giving rise to a living object that transforms with time.
Observing these subtle changes is part of the pleasure of using it.
Another advantage: this bowl perfectly enhances the colors of the dishes you serve in it.

Old metal, remade in sandstone
The antique pottery series starts with a simple idea: to give ceramics the color and texture of old metal tableware. The stoneware comes in two matte shades, brass and gray, so muted that it's hard to believe they are ceramics. The elegant mug takes the shape of old cups once made for Europe and the United States, reimagined with a modern touch. The sharp edges of the plates frame the dishes, and the glaze settles into the reliefs of the octagonal pieces. With use, oils and acids slowly alter the color, so each piece transforms over time.

CHIPS EXPERTISE
What makes the antique pottery series
Stoneware, not metal
All pieces in the series are made of stoneware, a dense and durable material. The matte color completes the look, reminiscent of vintage metal tableware.
Two muted colors
Brass and gray, two matte shades that evoke old metal pieces. The gray of the elegant mug leans toward blue, like the patina of oxidized copper.
The color changes with use
Each piece develops its own patina over time.
A sharp edge like a frame
On the plates, the right edge frames the ingredients like a composition. It also highlights the colors of the dishes you arrange there.
Enamel in veneers
On the octagonal bowl and mug, the enamel settles into the reliefs, creating a warm atmosphere. The mug contrasts a slender silhouette with a raw enamel finish.
Ancient shapes revisited
The elegant mug is inspired by the old cups once made for Europe and the United States. Its thin wall and sturdy handle make it lightweight and easy to hold.
