Lucky charms, a slot for your cards

Engimon is a collection of wooden card holders by T-LAB, in Japan. Each piece features a traditional Japanese good luck charm: the Daruma, usually made of papier-mâché; Mount Fuji, the sacred mountain and highest point in the country at 3,776 meters; the Maneki neko, which beckons luck; or the Tai sea bream, a symbol of wealth and prosperity. A slot holds a business card or photo. The albizia wood is finely sanded and then hand-painted, so no two pieces are exactly alike.

T-LAB EXPERTISE

What makes an Engimon cardholder

01

The Engimon collection

Engimon brings together wooden card holders produced by the Japanese brand T-LAB. Each one features a lucky charm figure from everyday Japanese life.

02

One slot for a card

Depending on the model, a slot holds a card or a photo, which stands upright in it.

03

Sanded, then hand-painted

Each piece is finely sanded before being hand-painted. The wood retains a smooth and soft finish to the touch.

04

None is identical

The wood grain and the artisan's touch make each piece slightly different. No cardholder is exactly the same as another.

05

Golden versions

T-LAB presents Mount Fuji, the Maneki Neko and the Daruma in a golden edition, offered as a limited series for the beginning of the year.

06

A corner desk size

The Mount Fuji card holder measures approximately 7 x 5.5 cm with a height of 6 cm. It’s perfect for placing on a desk, shelf, or counter without taking up much space.
