Magnetic dividers – Reconstituted leather (for Toyo Steel toolboxes)
Made from reconstituted leather by the renowned German company Salamander, these magnetic dividers have been specially designed for Toyo Steel toolboxes. Unlike foam products, reconstituted leather offers a unique texture and appearance, with an elegant finish. From the product to the packaging, every detail has been carefully considered to satisfy demanding users.

What is reconstituted leather?

Reconstituted leather is an eco-friendly material made from leather scraps transformed into fibers, then mixed with resin before being pressed into sheets. It retains the natural texture, durability, and absorbency of genuine leather, while developing a beautiful patina over time.
Black spots or slight discolorations may appear due to the manufacturing process — this is part of the material’s authentic character.

About the magnetic dividers

The ends of the piece are equipped with magnetic fasteners: simply open them and position inside your toolbox. An official product, it bears the Toyo Steel logo.

  • Avoid using creams or leather cleaning products, as this may cause stains or irregularities.

THE TOYO STEEL EXPERTISE

What makes this box unique

01

A single sheet of steel, zero welding

Each box is made from a single sheet of cold-pressed steel. No welding, no weak points. A monobloc structure that guarantees exceptional durability over time.

02

Rounded corners, no sharp edges

Rounded corners are not just aesthetic: they eliminate sharp edges, make cleaning easier, and enhance the structural strength of each box.

03

Light but indestructible

Cold-rolled steel offers an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. Easy to carry, hard to damage — an item designed for everyday use, not for the closet.

04

Closure adjusted by interlocking

The lid fits precisely thanks to the pressing technique. A clean closure, without clips or mechanisms — pure Japanese simplicity.

05

Epoxy finish, durable color

Epoxy paint resists scratches, rust, and stains. The colors retain their brightness over the years, even with heavy use.

06

Made in Japan since 1969

Each box comes from the same workshop in Osaka. More than half a century of expertise, a design that has hardly changed — because it didn’t need to.
