HIBI x TRC is reissuing the “palace mold” matchbox, a format once offered in hotels, with a design created by TRAVELER’S COMPANY under the “FOR TRAVEL” theme. Three fragrances have been selected from Hibi’s classics.
GERANIUM has a subtle sweetness similar to rose, with green notes. This fragrance is recommended when you are seeking to rebalance a troubled mind.
The packaging for this fragrance depicts a TRAVELER'S CAFE. Enjoy a pleasant moment with this fragrance, as if you were having a cup of coffee in a TRAVELER'S CAFE.

10 MINUTES AROMA was born from the meeting of two traditional Japanese crafts: matches from Harima and incense from Awaji Island. The desire to reintroduce the use of incense into our daily lives inspired more than three years of research to create this truly magical product.
Instructions:
(1) Open the packaging by pulling on both sides of the dotted line.
(2) Take out a hibi. Hold it near the middle (to prevent it from breaking), place its head at a 45-degree angle against the brown part of the box, and strike downward.
(3) Once lit, hold the hibi with its head slightly downward and wait for the flame to go out naturally. Otherwise, the incense may not burn properly, or the smell of the match may be released at first (but it fades after a while, making way for the hibi fragrance).
(4) Place the hibi on the special mat. A fragrance is released for approximately 10 minutes. As the special mat and saucer have heat-insulating properties, you can place them directly on a table or other surface. If you prefer, place them on the sliding lid. Stay nearby while hibi is burning. Burn only one stick at a time to prevent the mat from overheating.
(5) After use, completely remove any ash remaining on the mat. Otherwise, it could cause the fragrance to become mixed up when using a hibi with a different fragrance.

Usage & Entretien
- Read and follow the instructions for use.
- Handle the fire carefully. Stay nearby while hibi is burning.
- Place hibi on the special mat after confirming that the flame has gone out and hibi is still burning.
- Cover the special mat with the lid after confirming that hibi has completely extinguished.
- Use hibi in a place without wind.
- hibi is not edible. Keep it out of reach of children.
- Do not use hibi for any purpose other than that specified in the instructions for use.
- Avoid storing hibi in a warm and humid place to preserve its flammability.

There used to be small matches offered to guests in hotels, in a format called palace mold. hibi has reissued this format and transformed it into incense that lights with a simple gesture. TRAVELER'S COMPANY designed the boxes around the FOR TRAVEL theme, each evoking a stage of the journey. Three fragrances were chosen from hibi’s classics: Tea tree, Geranium, and Hinoki.
