Born in Mino, made for everyday use
CHIPS shapes its tableware in the Mino region of Japan, one of the great cradles of Japanese ceramics. Paired glazes, simple shapes, stackable mugs: tableware designed for rushed breakfasts as well as long gatherings, and meant to be mixed without ever clashing.

CHIPS EXPERTISE
What makes this tableware unique
Mino, land of ceramics
The region has been producing pottery for centuries. CHIPS sources its clays and kilns there.
Getting started first
Shapes designed to fit comfortably in hand and lift effortlessly, even in large sizes.
Living glazes
Depending on the kiln and firing, the shades vary slightly from one piece to another. That’s the beauty of Mino ceramics.
The Mismatched Game
The colors are designed to blend: each table creates its own palette.
Stackable, from the cupboard to the table
Stackable mugs and bowls save space without sacrificing style.
Heritage, without the museum
CHIPS borrows from Mino traditions, like the mysterious green of Oribe, and brings them into everyday life.
