What makes a pen last
A ystudio pen is made to stay on the desk for a long time, but the ink runs out. These are the parts that take over, ballpoint refills and piston converters, those you change without thinking and that determine the smoothness of the line. ystudio relies on specialists: the 0.7 mm gel ink refill is custom-made by the Japanese manufacturer OHTO, while the high-capacity P900M refill and the K5 converter come from Schmidt. All follow shared standards, Parker or Cross format for the ballpoint and a standard converter for the nib, so they also fit most other pens. A part costing just a few euros, and the pen is ready for pages and pages again.

What you need to know before recharging
Made in Japan by OHTO
The 0.7 mm gel ink refill is custom-made by the Japanese manufacturer OHTO. Its black ink and metal body provide stable and smooth writing.
The large Schmidt capacity
The P900M is a high-capacity ballpoint refill with a stainless steel tip. It fits ystudio portable ballpoint pens and the spring model.
The Parker standard
The P900M and the OHTO gel refill measure approximately 98 mm long and 5.8 mm in diameter, in the standard Parker format. The Y-BP05, about 100 mm long, follows the Cross format and is intended for the Classic Revolve Slim.
The piston, not the cartridge
The converter draws ink directly from the bottle and then holds it in its reservoir. The nib is therefore supplied without a disposable cartridge.
A part made of brass
The ystudio converter measures 67.2 mm in length and 7.3 mm in diameter, revealing a part made of brass. It fits the entire series of fountain pens from the brand.
Check compatibility
The Schmidt K5 converter, 75 mm for 7.8 mm, is suitable for ystudio fountain pens, except for the resin model. A point to check before ordering.
