Reconstituted leather sole IS series for T-190
Reconstituted leather insole (IS series, Salamander) for the TOYO STEEL T190 toolbox, to protect the bottom and keep storage neat.
This insole is specially designed for T-190 and T-192 toolboxes only, made from reconstituted leather by the renowned German company Salamander.
What is reconstituted leather?
Reconstituted leather is an eco-friendly material made by transforming leather scraps into fibers, which are then mixed with resin and reworked into sheets. It retains the natural texture, durability, and moisture absorption of genuine leather, while allowing you to enjoy the color changes and patina that develop over time. Due to the characteristics of reconstituted leather, small black spots or color variations may appear during manufacturing. Thank you for your understanding.

À propos de TOYO STEEL
Toyo Steel Co. Ltd, founded in 1969 in Osaka, is the specialist of the toolbox renowned for its many qualities: lightweight, portable, extremely durable as it is made from a single piece of seamless steel. Every detail is carefully considered: rounded edges to avoid injury, retractable handle, locking clasp, embossed top and bottom for stacking. The use of the toolbox is versatile: it fits in every room of the house to store pencils, sewing threads, phones, glasses, kitchen utensils... and of course tools.

Born in Osaka, adopted indoors
Since 1969, each Toyo Steel box has been pressed from a single sheet of steel in Higashi Osaka. Designed for the workshop, it has gradually moved from the workbench to the home. On a desk, a shelf, or a dresser, it stores stationery, plants, or keepsakes, and its design has remained unchanged for over fifty years.

TOYO STEEL EXPERTISE
What makes these objects unique
A single sheet of steel, zero welding
Each box is made from a single sheet of cold-pressed steel. No welding, no weak points: a monobloc structure built to last for decades.
Rounded corners, no sharp edges
Rounded corners are not just aesthetic: they eliminate sharp edges, make cleaning easier, and enhance the structural strength of each box.
Lightweight but indestructible
Cold-rolled steel offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Easy to carry, hard to damage. An object designed for everyday use, not for the closet.
Stackable, modular, alignable
Designed to live side by side. The dimensions follow one after another by module, the lids stack flat, and each box finds its place on a shelf or countertop.
Epoxy finish, durable color
Epoxy paint resists scratches, rust, and stains. The colors retain their brightness over the years, even with heavy use.
Made in Japan since 1969
Each box comes from the same workshop in Osaka. More than half a century of expertise, a design that has hardly changed. Because it didn’t need to.
