À propos de MOHEIM
MOHEIM has launched a variety of home items, from tableware to furniture. The common denominator of their creations is minimalism and simplicity, as well as the desire to harmoniously integrate into everyone’s life. Additionally, they use traditional techniques and cutting-edge technologies to shape their products, with an ethical approach that aligns with our times. MOHEIM is a brand that creates “new standards” to enrich the lives of those who own their products.
MOHEIM designs its products with the importance of design in living spaces in mind. Timeless, durable designs that are pleasant to use. A sophisticated aesthetic that fits perfectly into your daily life. They conceive their creations by imagining harmonious, high-quality everyday atmospheres that everyone will cherish forever.
Even objects with an elegant appearance benefit from well-thought-out design and structure. However, design alone is not enough to create a product. The skill and experience of the creator are always necessary. To realize their manufacturing ideals, they integrate cutting-edge technologies as well as the traditional craftsmanship of the region. MOHEIM values craftsmanship in the development of its products.
The term “sustainable” can refer to a wide variety of things. MOHEIM will continue to consider initiatives that promote environmental awareness and benefit society. They develop items from recycled materials and work towards more environmentally friendly manufacturing.

A lid, a stand, nothing more.
The SWING BIN basket is MOHEIM's very first product, designed by Shigeichiro Takeuchi, born in Fukui, Japan, in 1975. Its lid tilts without any mechanism, simply aligning with the straight sides of the basket. These are the two functional parts found here: the wooden lid, made of maple or walnut, and the inner support that holds the plastic bag against the wall. They are sold separately; the basket remains a separate purchase. A lid marked by time or a lost support can thus be replaced without changing the entire object.

SWING BIN PARTS
What you need to know before ordering
The part only
These references correspond only to the replacement part. The SWING BIN wastebasket is sold separately.
Maple or walnut
The lid is available in two types of wood: light maple and darker walnut. You can choose based on the basket you already have.
The bag holder
This inner support holds a plastic bag inside the basket. Each basket is already equipped with one, so it is purchased only in case of loss or damage.
Size S or size M
Lids and supports are available in both basket sizes. The size ordered must match that of your SWING BIN.
A seesaw without a mechanism
The lid tilts without a spring or hinge, relying solely on its geometry. It is this unique structure that made the basket famous.
