BRAND HISTORY

Daiyo was founded in Takashima County, Shiga Prefecture, in 1914. The craftsmanship has been passed down through four generations, refined and perfected over time. Shiga Prefecture is home to Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, and many natural resources. As a result, Shiga has accumulated a wealth of knowledge about the coexistence of humans and nature.
